Can I try the gear before my rental?
Of course. You need to know how the gear operates before you get on set, so come and get a hands on run through. Let us know when, and if there is anything extra or specific that you are unsure about.
What is your refund/reschedule policy?
Rentals cancelled more than 7 days in advance will be refunded in full.
Cancellations within 7 days before rental is due to commence will be issued a reschedule credit for the same equipment at a later date during the following 12 months, depending on availablity.
Cancellations within 24 hours of rental date will not be refunded and cannot be rescheduled.
How far does free delivery cover?
For short rentals, delivery is free up to 30km from Bergen centre, give or take.
For rentals of a week or longer, delivery up to 100km from Bergen is free of charge.
Extra distances are not a problem but travel time will be added at around 200kr/hour.
We will discuss this on a case by case basis once your rental enquiry has been received and we know where and when you need our gear.
Can we have a discount please?
Nordisk Kamera Utleie runs quite frequent discount offers, on top of prices that we believe are already quite reasonable.
We do not offer friends, students, or shooters on zero-budget a discount beyond what we offer anybody else.
Instead, we offer loyal customers the best prices, since those are the shooters that keep our business afloat. The more often you rent with us, the more accomodating we're able to be.
What about insurance?
All of our gear comes with full insurance that covers all eventualities during the rental period. That means that accidental damage is covered. Theft during a rental is covered as long as the police were informed immediately of the situation, and the equipment was being stored in an appropriatley locked building overnight. Theft from vehicles left unattended overnight is not covered and we therefore ask our customers to bring the equpment indoors no matter how safe you think your car park is.
How do I pay you?
We accept bank transfers, Vipps, and faktura. Payments must be made in full to confirm a reservation.
